Titanic International Society members and the public have expressed an interest in the forthcoming United States Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation hearings into the loss of the submersible Titan on June 18, 2023, which cost five human lives, including that of TIS member Paul-Henri Nargeolet.
The Coast Guard has released a speakers’ list and schedules for each day of the hearings, which will begin on Monday, September 16, and continue through Friday, September 27. They can be viewed live on the Coast Guard’s youtube channel, and on X (formerly known as Twitter.) Many of you may be working during these hearings, but it is possible they may continue to be available online afterward, although we have no confirmation on this point yet.
